Funding Opportunity: Honor the Earth

Honor the Earth awards grants to organizations that are led and managed by Native peoples. Priority is given to grassroots, community-based organizations and groups with a lack of access to federal and/or tribal funding resources. Honor the Earth’s current grant-making funds work that builds resilience in Indigenous communities, including the development of culturally-based, indigenous solutions to climate change based on re-localizing food and energy economics, as well as grants to restore traditional knowledge as a key adaption and mitigation strategy to ensure a safe and healthy future for Native children. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, however applications are reviewed twice a year. Applicants must check with Honor the Earth to ensure have most current information including deadlines for review.
