This solicitation provides funding for communities to develop and implement prevention, intervention, and suppression strategies that aim to reduce youth gun and gang violence. Applicants must target their proposed intervention or suppression strategies to work with those youth who are most likely to be involved in violent activities in the immediate future. Interventions developed for this target population should include improved coordination of existing resources and activities that support multiple, complementary antiviolence strategies. The SF-424 and the SF-LLL will be submitted in Grants.gov by June 22, 2021 at 11:59PM ET. OJP urges applicants to submit applications at least 72 hours prior to the application due date to allow time for the applicant to receive validation messages or rejection notifications from Grants.gov and to correct in a timely fashion any problems that may have caused a rejection notification. The full application will be submitted in JustGrants on July 6, 2021 at 11:59PM ET.
