Udall Fellowship: Native American Fellowship, Application deadline January 31, 2022

The Native American Congressional Internship offers a summer internship for Native American and Alaska Native students who wish to learn more about the federal government and issues affecting Indian country. Interns work in congressional and agency offices where they have opportunities to research legislative issues important to tribal communities, network with key public officials and tribal advocacy groups, experience an insider's view of the federal government, and enhance their understanding of nation-building and tribal self-governance.The internship will take place from May 25 - July 30, 2022. Applicants must be Native Americans or Alaska Natives who are currently enrolled at or recent graduates of a two or four-year accredited, nonprofit institution of higher education in the U.S. Graduate and law students are also eligible. Deadline for application is January 31, 2021
