The California Rural Indian Health Board, Inc. (CRIHB) was formed to provide a central focal point in the Indian health field in California. CRIHB is committed to the needs and interests that elevate and promote the health status and social conditions of the Indian people of California and supports their mission by providing advocacy, shared resources, training, and technical assistance that enhances the delivery of quality comprehensive health-related services. CRIHB offers a membership opportunity, training opportunities, funding opportunities and contracting opportunities.
White Bison is the facilitator of the the sustainable grassroots Wellbriety Movement providing culturally based healing for the next seven generations of people. The mission of White Bison is to "disseminate culturally based principles, values and teachings to support healthy community development, servant leadership, and to support healing from alcohol, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders and intergenerational trauma." Training curriculum for children and families include, Wellbriety Celebrating Families, Mothers of Tradition and Fathers of Tradition. These training tools help develop the skills and knowledge to live a healthy life as a traditional, spiritual Native American/Alaska Native woman, fathers and families.
