Numbers of Children Adopted by State FY 2008 - FY 2017

Using information collected through various monitoring and reporting systems, the Children's Bureau analyzes and reports data on a variety of topics, including adoption, foster care, and child abuse and neglect.A data set from the Adminstratin for Children and Families based upon the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System that shows the number of children adopted by state.  The data set includes numbers of children adopted in each state for fiscal years 2008 through 2017.  Data are listed as of August 2018.
