Webinar: Creating Community: Increasing Access to Services for LGBTQ+ Survivors Part I and II, June 16 and June 23, 2022 (Part 2)

The Family Justice Center Alliance and the Family Service of the Piedmont (onsite partners at the Guilford County Family Justice Center) will host a two-part webinar series focused on improving services for the LGBTQ+ community and how to eliminate barriers to service in organizations/Family Justice Center(s) serving the LGBTQ+ community. Part I will cover the importance of identity and labels, plus common abuse tactics and roadblocks that LGBTQ+ survivors may be experiencing. Part II will discuss the intersection of the LGBTQ+ community and sexual violence with strategies for how to be inclusive of all identities in your responses. Part 1 of this series will occur on June 16, 2022. Part 2 of this series will occur on June 23, 2022. Both sessions begin at 1:00 pm and will conclude at 2:30 pm ET.
