Hello Baby is a voluntary program for parents of new babies, designed to strengthen families, improve children’s outcomes, and boost child and family well-being, safety and security. The Hello Baby program provides a three-tiered approach for families with newborns which includes the following: a Universal Tier providing a "warmline" access to Hello Baby through a texting service and website; a Family Support Tier designed for families with moderate needs which provides access to a network of 27 Family Centers located in the county; a Priority Tier for families with the most complex needs providing a two-person team made up of a family engagement specialists (peer counselor) and a social worker serving as a case manager. Data collection points are used to support and improve programming.
